We recently had the oppourtunity to meet with a bouncer from one of Torontos hottest and newest nightclubs, Metro Nightclub. Our goal was to give you an industry inside on the day in the life of a bouncer from one of Toronto's hottest nightclubs. So we did just that in our interview with Mladen!

Yah, I go by either Danny, Dan, or DEagle
How old are you?
I am going to be 22 soon (old fart)
What city are you from?
I have lived in Doboj, Republika Srpska, Zrenjanin, Serbia, Montenegro and I'm currently living in Toronto.
What nationality are you?
I'm Serbian.
What are some of your hobbies?
Right now I try to work as much as I can, but some of my free time I am spending on Muay Thai (kick boxing). I like to get wild once in a while and party too, but unfortunately there is not much time for that right now.
What clubs have you worked for?
In Canada I have worked at Steam and now I'm at Metro.
How long have you been involved in the entertainment industry?
Hahaha, well there was no drinking age in Serbia when I was a kid so I started going to clubs at the early age of 13! I also lived in Germany before moving to Canada which has an absolutely insane nightlife scene!
Do you like the people you work with?
Yeah, I am blessed to work with the best bouncers in the best club in the GTA. We have the sexiest bartenders, go-go dancers and the club is really elegant. The DJ's know how to move the crowd, and my night goes by much more smoothly when everyone is happy. Its Metro, what isn't there to like?!?
What are some of the advantages with the job? ( we want to hear all! yes, the girls!)
hahaha well, yah you know girls are really friendly. I have a good job. What can I say? I meet a lot of cool people!
What are some of the disadvantages with the job?
Once in a while there are some rude people, or people who don't even respect themselves, so it's hard for us to expect them to respect the club or any authority. But thankfully those individuals are the minority in Metro. It's actually rare for me not to have a good time at my work.
What are the wildest things you've seen (give more then one example, I know there's more then one!)
Well once there are few drinks in people, there is always interesting things happening. At the right time and the right place, girls do there thing and oh boy it gets wild !

Metro is .... FRESH. It's completely renovated to the point where it looks like every corner of the club got a face lift. This club has the best promoters in the GTA. People know that if they want to have good time Metro is the place to be. Every room has something special about it. My favorite is the Porn room. Nice leather booths with flat screens. An excellent place to spend your evening at, because there is room to dance, but you can also sit down and enjoy music and drinks in booths. Everyone that works at Metro is friendly, so there isn't anything that will spoil your night.
What are some stupid things you've seen someone do while you were working?
Well, there is always room for stupid things when there is a club full of drunk people. I've seen someone who could not handle their little amount of alcohol they had consumed and ended up passed out in their own shit in a washroom stall and it took us about 30 minutes to get the person to leave the club (without touching anything! hah). But, its always fun seeing guys with no game getting shut down and some guys just don't take no for an answer either. The best is seeing someone trying to challenge any of the bouncers, thats always short and usually painful for the challenger!
Have you ever met any celebrities or well known people?
In the past I have met celebrities all over Europe including Arnold Schwarzenegger in Germany, and whole bunch of soccer players. I have met P Diddy, Kardinal, Meagan Monique Good (oh damn!) while working at Metro.
Ok ok, lets be honest do the girls like a guy in uniform or what?
Well hahah ... I think it's the ear piece that really turns them on! Or maybe it's the size of the radio!!!
Mladen was also very intrigued by the BeforeLastCall.com concept. He said "finally a website that not only does event galleries but delivers the lifestyle, daily events, upcoming events and a community dedicated to the partiers! "
